Laser Surgery
The Future is here. Laser Surgery is now
available for animals and represents a significant advance for
the treatment of many conditions. In many cases it is safer and
less painful than surgical techniques.
Carbon Dioxide lasers produce an invisible beam that
vaporizes the water normally found in the skin and other soft
tissues, cutting a very thin layer of tissue while leaving the
surrounding areas unaffected. Not only is the laser extremely
precise, but there is almost no bleeding and very little pain.
Laser Surgery has revolutionized the approach to many
veterinary conditions. While traditional surgery still has its
place in therapy, lasers produce less pain, less bleeding, less
swelling and reduced risk of infection.
